What is microblading?

Microblading is a method of semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing where a fine blade is used to deposit tiny pigment into the epidermis. Because the colour is implanted closer to the surface of the outer skin layer, the strokes appear crisp, fine and natural. The work can be so fine and detailed its often referred to as “brow embroidery”. To find out more, contact our London clinic today by clicking the button below.

Why Choose Microblading?

The benefits of microblading, unlike other forms of eyebrow treatments such as eyebrow extensions, include requiring little in the way of maintenance except for an annual touch up. The amount of time that you will save throughout the year that you would usually spend taking care of your brows will also more than make up for itself. On top of all that microblading makes your eyebrows look attractive, it is the gift that keeps on giving.

About the Treatment

A thorough consultation is required ahead of a  microblading treatment.  We will check your your hair volume, colour, shape and ask you what you expect to achieve from the eyebrow treatment.  As the eyebrow specialist, we will advise you and work together on your look. This will be done using an eyebrow pencil so you are able to have an idea of the end result. Only when you and the therapist are happy with the look created will we begin the actual treatment.

The treatment itself will then be done using a specialist hand held tool, creating beautiful fine hair stokes mimicking the natural direction and length of your brows. Pigments will then be implanted into the channels created by the tiny blades. This sensation is similar to a scratch, you should not feel any great discomfort. We will go through a thorough aftercare with you so you know exactly how to look after your brows following the procedure. The treatment takes around 90 minutes and you will leave with beautiful, defined, realistic brows!.

Touch Up Treatment
Following your initial treatment, you will need a second appointment, this usually booked in 6 weeks, It is a 45 minutes appointment to top up more pigment into treated area. In the healing process there may be areas where the pigment doesn’t hold, or where a few tweaks need to be made. This is completely normal as everyone heals differently and this is why everyone needs a second appointment
